About the program: The Online Drawing Development Year (ODDY) is a year-long, flexible programme from the Royal Drawing School, designed to support arts graduates and practising artists in developing their drawing and studio practice through live online teaching.

Eligibility:

Open to arts graduates and practising artists from all over the world who wish to develop their drawing skills and studio practice. Applicants should be able to commit to a flexible, year-long course taught live online (UK time, Daytime courses are 10am – 5pm and evening courses run 6pm – 9pm, students choose their own schedule combining daytime and evening classes).

What you get: Taught by professional artists, the course offers a rigorous combination of taught courses, peer discussion, 1:1 mentoring and critical dialogue across three terms.

Students curate their own programme from a broad range of online drawing courses, enabling them to tailor the year to their practice and personal schedule. The flexibility of the format makes it ideal for those based outside London or the UK, or anyone balancing artmaking with other commitments.
