What you get:
A budget of / a fee of £5000 including VAT (if applicable) to cover all aspects of planning, designing, and delivering the exhibition, inclusive of all artist fees, technical support, materials and expenses required to deliver the exhibition.
An additional budget of £2,400 will be available for the planning and delivery of public engagement activities to be delivered during the exhibition period inclusive of all artist fees, technical support, materials and expenses. This fee is optional and further detail will be provided at the contracting stage.

This is the first commission of its kind for Zenjob, who are excited to commission an emerging artist, creator, illustrator, or muralist for this project, thereby creating something memorable for the company and its team while supporting the creator's professional career in the arts.

Eligibility: You’re welcome to apply wherever you live or work, as long as you’re happy to deliver the work to Zenjob’s headquarters in Berlin at your own cost. Berlin-based artists may for that reason get prioritised. The commission paid is supposed to cover your time, insurance, material, and any travel and/or studio cost associated with the work. So if you think you can produce the work and deliver it/install it in Berlin even as an out of towner, you are absolutely welcome to apply. The commission is primarily for early career artists or artists who haven’t been commissioned with. If you haven’t received a new commission within the last year, you are also welcome to apply.

For this commission, broadly titled "History Wall," the theme is deeply linked to the company's history, ethos, and mission. The style is entirely up to you; the team is open to any creative direction that can visually express their history and mission, from collage to comic, illustration to fully representative art, whether painted onsite or as a triptych. We welcome your suggestions.
Commission Specifications:
Objective
The artwork should creatively represent the timeline and key achievements of Zenjob, integrating elements that reflect the company’s ethos and spirit. The work can be a mural, illustration, comic strip, collage, mixed media, the team is open to your ideas.
Production and Installation Requirements
Artists are encouraged to propose innovative approaches and concepts that align with the brief. You are encouraged to bring the brief to life as you see fit. However, the following installation requirements are important to consider:
The wall on which your work will be installed is 1.60 m high and about 8 m long.
The work will be placed in the lobby of Zenjob headquarters, which is a workplace. This should be considered when planning the installation, especially if you are proposing the creation of a mural or wall art that is to be applied onsite. Please provide details about your production and installation process and/or requirements.
What you get: EUR 4,000 art commission to cover artist fees, materials, and all direct costs associated with the commission. Your work will then be installed in Zenjob's headquarters in Berlin, and will remain in private collection.
The completed artwork will be owned by Zenjob. However, the artist retains the right to display the work in their portfolio and for promotional purposes.
Call for Applications: 2025 Joseph Plaskett Postgraduate Award in Painting
The Joe Plaskett Foundation was established in 2004 by the artist Joseph Plaskett (1918 – 2014) to facilitate the selection of a recipient for the Plaskett Award. Starting in 2023, the Plaskett Award switched to a biennial schedule and increased the award value to $65,000.

To meet the criteria of eligibility for the Plaskett Award, the candidate has to be:
a Canadian citizen;
a visual artist in the field of painting;
an MFA student in one of the following situations:

◦ who has graduated from an MFA program within the last 24 months. (Please contact us at application@joeplaskett.com if you have any questions).willing to live, travel, and create artwork abroad for a minimum of one year.
The Joe Plaskett Foundation is very flexible regarding when the stay abroad will take place. Recipients may choose to take a leave of absence from their university, or they may defer the award for a year. About the call: The Joe Plaskett Foundation was established in 2004 by the artist Joseph Plaskett (1918 – 2014) to facilitate the selection of a recipient for the Plaskett Award. — Applying to UPMC Jameson: The Hoyt and UPMC Jameson collecting recognize the healing power of the arts and has reignited a partnership to rotate exhibitions in high traffic corridors of the hospital. The Deschutes Public Library Creates New Art Collection
Situated in the center of Oregon, over 200,000 people call Deschutes County home. Central Oregon, widely known for its stunning mountains, rivers, pine forests and recreational opportunities, will now be home to a new 100,000 square foot library in east Bend known as Stevens Ranch, a new branch library in Redmond and completely renovated and renewed libraries in the communities of La Pine, Sunriver and Sisters and in historic downtown Bend. The project is funded by a voter approved bond measure. 1% of the brick and mortar costs are reserved for the purchase of art.

About the call:

Budget: The renovation and new construction of all the branches is scheduled to conclude spring of 2027. Budgets for art per branch range from $30,000 to $900,000 for a total project budget for art of just under $1.5 million for the county wide library system. A fundraising campaign will nearly match the amount funded by the 1% program.
The Deschutes Public Library administration appointed a Public Art Selection Committee (Art Committee), comprised of local artists, a project architect and community advocates, to represent the towns served by library branches. The Art Committee will make recommendations to the library administration for final approval.
VISION: Deschutes Public Library Art Collection - Diverse, Inclusive and Inspirational
The renovations and new construction throughout the entire library district bring the opportunity for the district to build a new art collection. Art in all six Deschutes Public Library branches will be diverse in both concept and material. Works will be traditional and non-traditional and possess a lasting endurance. The DPL Art Committee seeks works in all media and genres: Painting, Printmaking, Sculpture, Glass, Fiber, Functional, Digital, Photography, Installation, Mixed Media, New media/genres. Suspended from ceilings, mounted on walls, embedded in floors, anchoring a public space, works will exist in both expected and unexpected places within the building and on library grounds.
First: Build a roster of qualifying artists from Western states for consideration across all branches.
Second: Invite artists who have pre-qualified by inclusion in the roster to submit proposals for specific artwork commissions in one or more library branches.
Artists who respond to this call will be considered for inclusion in the Deschutes Public Artists Library Artist Roster. The Art Committee will invite pre-qualified artists from the roster to submit proposals for specific artwork commissions in one or more library branches. Up to five finalists will be invited to submit a formal proposal for each commission. Finalists will receive up to a $1,000 honorarium for a written proposal, online presentation and digital rendering of the proposed artwork. Finalists wishing to visit the area may, on a case-by-case basis, be offered an additional stipend to offset travel expenses.
Immediate Submissions Encouraged: While the Deschutes Public Library seeks artwork for six library branches with multiple deadlines, we encourage artists to submit NOW, as the art selection committee is actively seeking artworks for all branches, regardless of construction completion timelines.

The Gallery at Penn College’ 2025/26 Exhibitions

About the call: The Gallery at Penn College is accepting applications for solo, two-person, and group exhibitions for 2025-26. The Gallery is located in Williamsport, PA, on the campus of Pennsylvania College of Technology, a nationally recognized leader in applied technology education. The Gallery is 3,000 square feet. All entries are juried and selected through a blind selection process by our gallery committee, comprised of dedicated faculty, staff, K-12 art educators, and artists from the community.
