Sound Installation of Youth Activist Voices

Eligibility: We welcome proposals from artists and collectives age 18+ worldwide, especially those who identify as BIPOC, youth, or from frontline or underrepresented communities. Applicants must have experience in sound art, immersive installations, or social practice art. Preferred: Cross-disciplinary teams and those working in both digital and physical formats.
About the call: The Human Impacts Institute (HII) is seeking an artist or artist collective to design and produce a mobile and virtual sound installation amplifying the climate demands of youth from over 40 countries, particularly those from frontline, BIPOC, and underrepresented communities.
What you get: $5,500 USD total (includes artist fee and materials). Exhibition during Climate Week NYC 2025, both in-person and online Promotion through Human Impacts Institute, WNET, and partner networks, reaching thousands globally. Creative and logistical support from the Human Impacts Institute team. Opportunity to collaborate with international youth climate leaders from over 40 countries.
