Kimmel Harding Nelson Residency

Since 2001, KHN has awarded more than 1400 residencies to working visual artists, writers, composers, and interdisciplinary artists from across the country and around the world.

Kimmel Harding Nelson Center for the Arts awards up to seventy-eight juried residencies per year to composers, writers, visual and interdisciplinary artists from across the country and around the world. Residencies are 2 to 8 weeks in length. Each resident receives a $175 stipend per week, housing, and a private studio. 

All residents are selected by a discipline-specific panel of professionals with decisions based on the quality of work samples and statements submitted.
