The Christo and Jeanne-Claude Award 2026

Eligibility: UAE residents who are current full-time university students or graduates within the last five years. Applicants must apply with the support and nomination of a mentor.
About the award: An annual award supporting UAE-based artists to propose and realise a publicly exhibited artwork inspired by the spirit of Christo and Jeanne-Claude. The winning work will be produced and exhibited across major public sites in Abu Dhabi.
What you get: USD 10,000 production budget and exhibition of the winning artwork at Abu Dhabi Art, NYU Abu Dhabi, and Umm El Emarat Park in November/December 2026.
